RISCOS OCUPACIONAIS CAUSADOS PELO USO DE MOTOSSERRAS À COMBUSTÃO EM SERVIÇOS DE CORTE DE ÁRVORE

Resumo

Este estudo trata sobre os riscos ocupacionais ocasionados pelo uso de motosserras à combustão aos bombeiros militares do Estado do Amapá bem como fazer um comparativo desse equipamento com as motosserras à bateria. A pesquisa foi aplicada levando em consideração a atividade de corte de árvore realizada pelo CBMAP. O método utilizado foi hipotético-dedutivo. Com relação aos procedimentos, foi adotado o método comparativo para verificação dos dados técnicos das motosserras à combustão comparando-os com os limites estabelecidos em normas de higiene ocupacionais e com os dados técnicos das motosserras à bateria e, dessa forma, verificar quais destes ocasionam menos riscos ocupacionais, por fim, quanto aos procedimentos técnicos, a pesquisa é bibliográfica e estudo de caso direcionado aos bombeiros militares do Estado do Amapá. Como conclusões, houve a confirmação da hipótese levantada, verificou-se os principais riscos ocupacionais os quais os bombeiros militares estão sujeitos em atividades de corte de árvores com motosserras à combustão, destacando-se os riscos físicos, riscos químicos, riscos ergonômicos e riscos de acidentes. Também foi possível constatar que as motosserras à bateria oferecem menos riscos ocupacionais, principalmente por produzirem menos ruídos e vibrações, ausência de risco químico e por proporcionar uma melhor ergonomia em sua utilização.

ABSTRACT: This study deals with the occupational hazards caused by the use of combustion chainsaws for military firefighters in the State of Amapá, as well as making a comparison of this equipment with battery-powered chainsaws. The survey was applied taking into account the tree cutting activity carried out by CBMAP. The method used was hypothetical-deductive. With regard to the procedures, the comparative method was adopted to verify the technical data of combustion chainsaws, comparing them with the limits established in occupational hygiene standards and with the technical data of battery chainsaws and, in this way, verify which of these cause less occupational risks. Finally, as for the technical procedures, the research is bibliographic and case study directed to the military firefighters of the State of Amapá. As conclusions, there was confirmation of the raised hypothesis; it was verified the main occupational risks which the military firefighters are subject in activities of cutting trees with combustion chainsaws, highlighting the physical risks, chemical risks, ergonomic risks and risks of accidents. It was also possible to verify that battery chainsaws offer less occupational hazards, mainly because they produce less noise and vibrations, lack of chemical risk and because they provide better ergonomics in their use.
