SAÚDE E QUALIDADE DE VIDA EM BOMBEIROS MILITARES DE MATO GROSSO

Abstract

A prevenção em saúde é necessária em todas as profissões, entretanto, o Bombeiro Militar possui características peculiares e inerentes ao seu ofício, as quais necessitam de um olhar profundo no que diz respeito a prevenção e qualidade de vida desses trabalhadores. Baseado na necessidade de aprofundar na temática saúde e qualidade de vida dos bombeiros militares, que possuem atividades de serviço peculiares que podem trazer consequências a saúde, sendo assim contribuir com essa área de pesquisa. O objetivo foi analisar estudos sobre saúde e qualidade de vida em bombeiros militares, colher e sistematizar os dados que apontam para as doenças osteomusculares no Corpo de Bombeiros Militar de Mato grosso. O método utilizado foi pesquisa bibliográfica com abordagem teórica descritiva e quantitativa da população e coleta de dados secundários. Constatou-se que os bombeiros militares são trabalhadores com funções peculiares, adversas que são inerentes ao seu ofício, e possuem regime de trabalho com exigências diferentes dos trabalhadores civis, dessa forma, essa categoria necessita de um olhar específico no que diz respeito a prevenção em saúde e qualidade de vida.

HEALTH AND QUALITY OF LIFE IN MATO GROSSO'S MILITARY FIREMEN

Introduction: Health prevention is necessary in all professions, however, the Military Firefighter has peculiar characteristics inherent to his craft, which require a deep look in regards to the prevention and the quality of life of these workers. Based on the need to delve deeper into the health and quality of life of military firefighters, who have peculiar service activities that can have health consequences, thus contributing to this area of ​​research. To analyze studies on health and quality of life in the military firefighters, collect and systematize the data that point to musculoskeletal diseases in the Military Fire Department of Mato Grosso. The method used was bibliographic research with a theoretical, descriptive and quantitative approach to the population and secondary data collection. Conclusion: it was found that military firefighters are workers with peculiar, adverse functions that are inherent to their job, and have a work regime with different requirements from civil workers, thus, this category needs a specific look with regard to health prevention and quality of life.
